This is a versatile USB-C 3.2 Gen2 product with adaptive support for multiple full-featured specifications, support for either a 4-lane DP 2.1+ USB 2.0 or DP 1.4+ USB 3.2 10G data,overcoming the limitation of active optical cables not supporting these specifications simultaneously. It achieves multiple functions such as USB3.2 10Gbps data transfer, DP video output, PD charging, and is backward compatible with USB2.0/1.1. The USB-C AOC cable matches the functionality of a full-featured copper cable and can adaptively complete the DP Alt mode function. Enabling a plug-and-play experience without needing separate device configurations or firmware installations, and a way more longer than convention coppers.

Usage Instructions:
1)Insert the host end connector of the cable into the Type C port on the host end .
2)Insert the display end of the cable into the Type C port of the display.
The device is connected successfully and can be used normally. The usage of single USB is the same..
Working Principle:


1. The host and the device (mostly is monitor) communicate through CC to determine whether the device is 4lane mode or 2lane mode;
2. S-012 photoelectric IC captures CC information through E-marker, and confirm the device is 4 Lane DP mode ;
3. The S-012 controls the mux chip to switch the channel, that switches the original 2 Lane DP+USB 3.0 mode to 4 Lane DP mode, at the same time notifies the S-011 to complete the same channel switching by transmitting optical signals.
4. When ready, the link completes the handshake process again and the display lights up successfully
