PHOOSSNO / INDUSTRIAL MACHINE VISION & AOI
Connect a compatible USB inspection camera to the processing PC across your installation. Choose the interface, data rate and power arrangement around the camera and the cable route—not just the connector shape.
Application illustration. Equipment appearance does not establish compatibility with a specific camera model.

Connect the cable end marked Host to the computer and Device to the camera where those markings apply. An operator monitor uses a separate display connection; HDMI does not replace the camera’s USB data path.

04 / How to choose
Identify both device models and ports. A USB-C connector alone does not confirm a particular USB data mode, display function or power profile.
Record resolution, transmitted bits per pixel and frame rate. Width × height × bits per pixel × frames per second estimates uncompressed payload before protocol overhead.
Measure the routed distance, including service loops and access to the equipment. Check connector clearance, bend radius and pulling limits.
Confirm startup and continuous demand. Ask what power is available at the remote end for the exact model and length.
Check temperature, nearby drives, cable separation, oil or cleaning-fluid exposure, and the required jacket or flame rating.
Specify whether the cable stays in a tray or moves with machinery. For moving routes, provide torsion, bend radius, speed and cycle requirements.
Example: 1920 × 1200 × 8 bits × 60 fps is about 1.11 Gbit/s of image payload before overhead. Controller sharing and host processing also affect usable capacity.

An AOC is a candidate for a longer USB route. Verify the selected model and length with the camera at production settings.
Optical transmission reduces susceptibility along the optical signal path. Connector electronics and copper conductors still require appropriate routing and power design; a hybrid AOC is not galvanic isolation.
Match plug dimensions and cable exit direction to the enclosure. A compatible screw-lock connection provides retention, but strain relief must support the cable independently.
Check power, controller sharing, trigger timing, software buffers and cable installation. Test all cameras together and log frame errors, timeouts and restart recovery.
06 / FAQ
Compatibility depends on the exact camera, USB controller, cable version, length, power arrangement and acquisition software. Send the camera and host model numbers, then test the intended resolution, pixel format, frame rate and trigger mode before deployment.
No. Use the stated data rate for the exact model and variant. A 10Gbps cable cannot make a 5Gbps camera faster, and nominal link rate is not the sustained image throughput available to your application.
There is no single maximum for the whole range. The screw-locking USB-A to USB-C model lists up to 15m; other models offer different lengths. Confirm the required length together with the camera, USB mode and power requirements before ordering.
Some hybrid AOCs include copper conductors for power. The screw-locking USB-A to USB-C product lists up to 5V / 900mA. Check startup demand, continuous current and the available supply at the device end for the selected cable length. Do not assume every model has the same power capability.
A flexible jacket or screw-lock connector does not establish a continuous-motion rating. Provide bend radius, torsion, travel distance, speed and required cycle life for a model-specific review.
No. These are different interfaces. The USB AOCs shown here are candidates for compatible USB connections; they do not convert other industrial camera protocols to USB.
Send the required length, both connector types, locking details, installation conditions, quantity and target delivery date. PHOOSSNO can review the request; availability and compatibility must be confirmed for the proposed configuration.

A:Yes, with a compatible host, room system or dock, and cable. All must support the required video, USB data and charging functions together. Confirm the target video mode, data speed and charging power at the selected length. If one connection cannot meet those requirements, consider separate video and USB links.
A:USB-C describes the connector, not every supported function. A DisplayPort Alt Mode connection requires compatible support from the host port, cable and display side. A “10Gbps” specification on an optical cable describes data capability; it does not by itself confirm display-video support.
A:Compatibility depends on the exact device, connection mode, cable model and length. Device detection alone does not confirm the required video mode, controls or power. Identify the host, camera and intermediate equipment, then test the intended workflow. Another manufacturer's support for its own accessories does not certify third-party cables.
A:Check the camera's supported output modes, the negotiated USB speed, and whether the conferencing application supports and enables 4K. Intermediate docks or hubs may also limit the connection. Successful device detection is only the first step; the camera, connection and software must all support the target mode.
A:First verify the cable's documented suitability for the installation location and applicable building requirements. Check connector clearance, conduit bends, minimum bend radius and pulling limits. A detachable design may simplify a narrow route, but follow its model-specific installation instructions. Test the connection before installation.
